Mr. McManigal co-founded Capital Alignment Partners in 2009 and serves as a Managing Director.

Prior to co-founding Capital Alignment Partners, Mr. McManigal was a Managing Director at Barrington Associates, which was sold to Wells Fargo Securities in 2006. While at Barrington, his duties included originating and managing merger and acquisition transactions with an emphasis on the consumer products and business services sectors. Prior to joining Barrington Associates, Mr. McManigal was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Department at Roth Capital Partners. Prior to Roth Capital Partners, Mr. McManigal was a General Partner at Edgewater Private Equity Fund, LLP, which had over $250 million under management at the time. While at Edgewater, he was involved in all facets of the business from raising funds, to sourcing deals, and working with portfolio companies as they moved towards liquidity. Prior to Edgewater, Mr. McManigal was a transactional lawyer and did the initial work to form Edgewater in 1990.
